What do Google Ads cost?

It depends entirely on where you sell. Pick your market for real benchmark ranges in local currency, what pushes them up or down, and the budget you actually need to start.

What you are paying for

Two separate costs, and only one of them is mine

Most pricing confusion comes from these being mixed together. They are not the same thing and they are not paid to the same place.

Media spend

The money that actually buys impressions and clicks. It is paid by you, directly to Google, on your own billing account. It never passes through me.

This is the number that scales with growth, and it is entirely under your control. You can raise or lower it whenever you want.

Management fee

A flat monthly retainer for the work — strategy, build, testing, optimisation and reporting. Based on account size and how many platforms are involved.

Never a percentage of ad spend. A percentage model quietly rewards me for spending more of your money, which is a strange incentive to build into an agreement you are relying on.

What this means for your risk. Because media spend sits on your own billing account, you can stop at any time without going through me. And because the fee is flat and month to month, there is no contract locking you in if the numbers stop making sense.

The honest answer

Why nobody can quote you a price without seeing the account

Your category sets the floorLegal, insurance and finance sit at the top of every auction. A niche product in a quiet vertical can cost a fraction of the same click in a contested one.
Your creative moves it mostOn Google Ads this is the largest controllable factor. Better creative lowers cost directly, and it moves numbers further than any bidding change.
Your tracking decides efficiencyBroken conversion data makes everything more expensive, because the platform optimises toward the wrong people using the wrong signal.
Your market changes everythingThe same campaign can cost several times more in one country than another. That is why these pages are split by market rather than averaged into one meaningless figure.

What I will not do. Quote a cost per lead before seeing your account, or promise a return on ad spend. Anyone who does either is guessing, and you would be paying for the guess.

Questions

Before you get in touch

No. A flat monthly retainer based on account size and how many platforms are involved. Media spend is paid by you directly to the platform and never passes through me.

Auction competition, currency, seasonality and privacy rules all differ by country. Averaging them into one global figure would give you a number that applies to nobody.

Month to month, with 30 days notice either way. You stay because the numbers make sense, not because a contract says you have to.

I will tell you on the call rather than take the work and hope. Below a certain spend the data never becomes readable, and paying a management fee on top of that helps nobody.
