How much do Google Ads cost in Ireland?

Straight ranges, in EUR, with what actually pushes them up or down. No enquiry form required to see a number.

The numbers

What advertisers typically pay

€1.10–€5.00Cost per click
€30–€120Cost per lead
€1,800Realistic monthly minimum

These are ranges, not quotes. Where you land depends on your category, your creative, how competitive your auction is and how well your tracking works. A well-structured account and a badly structured one can sit at opposite ends of the same range.

What moves the number

Why two advertisers pay very different prices

Auction competitionYour category decides your floor. Finance, legal and insurance sit at the top of every market; niche products sit far lower.
SeasonalityBlack Friday and Christmas follow UK patterns closely. St Patrick's Day in March creates a genuine retail and hospitality window. January is quiet.
Creative and relevanceBetter creative lowers cost directly. On Google Ads this is the largest controllable factor, and it moves numbers more than bidding changes do.
Tracking qualityBroken conversion data makes everything more expensive, because the platform optimises toward the wrong people. Under GDPR, enforced by the Data Protection Commission this needs building carefully.

What management costs

Separate from media spend. I charge a flat monthly retainer based on account size and how many platforms are involved — never a percentage of ad spend, because that quietly rewards me for spending more of your money.

Pricing gets confirmed on the call once the scope is clear. There is no obligation attached to that conversation.

What you actually need to start

Around €1,800 a month in media is where testing starts producing readable answers in Ireland. Below that, budget spreads too thin across ad sets to learn anything reliable.

If you are under that figure, I will tell you on the call rather than take the work and hope.

Questions

Before you get in touch

Around €1,800 a month in media. Below that, spend spreads too thin across ad sets for the data to become readable.

No. A flat monthly retainer based on account size and platforms involved. Charging a percentage rewards me for spending more of your money, which is a strange thing to build into an agreement.

Category competition sets the floor, then creative quality, seasonality and tracking accuracy decide where inside the range you land. Two advertisers in the same market can sit at opposite ends of it.

Directly to the platform, always. Media spend and management fees stay completely separate, and you keep ownership of the billing.
